I Could Sure Use a Cherry Sundae

Well, my "Tuesday Monday" went just as I expected...option B. And to add more to the aggravation, my "Wednesday Tuesday" didn't get any better; more production issues hittin' the fan, two releases in progress, and 3 new projects getting ready for kick-off...and the topper...half of my staff didn't make it in today and I am 100% positive it's because of the rain.
What is it about the rain in California? People, and I'll admit, especially women, all of sudden lose their driving ability. I'm a woman with poor eyesight and managed to get here fine! (Granted I live 2.3 miles away from the office...not the point!)
And there really is no point to this post either outside of it being a nice little stress reliever for me. Lookin' forward to Thursday night Happy Hour tomorrow. But this time, I think I'm going to crash one. I'm tired of talking about the latest on the WGA Strike and the potential economic Recession that's headed our way with all the other Managers and Directors; topics are too serious and actually matter. It defeats the whole purpose of Happy Hour! So, I'll mingle with the peons tomorrow, although, they never invite Managers and Directors. There's gotta' be a reason for that and I'll find out manana!
Well, my little break time is over. It's passed 7p.m., still here, raining harder, and I could sure use a Cherry Sundae right about now...
P.S. Hey Jason...the multi-media conference room is open and everyone in the office is gone! Any ideas? LOL!

Rough day huh? We can make cherry sundaes all night Tech Babe ;)
I'm from the E. Coast and you're right, no one knows how to drive in the rain out West!
Well, Sunday at my bar is cheap highball night, and we have a new bartender named Cherri, so if you can find a way to make a Canadian detour this weekend there's a Cherri Sunday waiting for you up here ;)
As for the driving, it sounds like rain down there is about the same as snow in Alberta. The second it touches the ground, everyone on the road loses 50% of their driving IQ. Makes one want to go stabbity-like.
*muah* Hope the rest of the week goes the plusways.

Yes, several ideas come to mind. And we'll need that cherry sundae...
So you and Jason X are bed buddies?! If not yet... it sounds like the two of you are headed that direction. Why not? Don't you work in the same city...maybe even the same company...Hhhmmmm
I like to keep my professional relationships separate from my personal relationships.
Oh, wait. No I don't...
Even so, it's tough to have a relationship with someone who knows all your secrets. Yes, even a bed buddy.
Jason X and I may be working for the same company in the same city, but I kinda' like not knowing who he actually is. I agree with Jason in that hittin' it between the sheets w/ someone who is more in tune with your M.O. could lead to disaster...especially in the workplace!
Who knows, Jason and I may have already nailed each other and we just don't know it.
Well Tech Babe...I'm sure you two already have nailed each other, it's quite apparent that you two share not only your beds but the same brain cell as well. Maybe you should "just say no" to drugs and booze from now on and salvage as many of those little suckers you have left.
Recreational drugs and alcohol hasn't impaired my way of thinking, nor my work ethic; well, not to the obvious degree. So, I'm good there--thanks! It is, however, those "little suckers," who lack brain cells and feed off "un"common sense that sometimes drives me to that fucked up place in my head...but NEVER the drugs and booze!
