The “C” Word

Cunt-necklace-silver.gifBITCH vs. CUNT...I’m just going to put it out there....

Tea is to coffee is NOT the same as Bitch is to Cunt. So no, the two are not interchangeable. And yes, there is a difference – an exponential difference!

I can handle the term ‘bitch’; being called one, acting like one when a situation calls for it, and working with one or two, but not for. In some cases, it can even be considered a term of endearment. For example, my BFF’s and I have incorporated the term, as a standard, in our greetings and salutations to one another.

The term ‘cunt,’ on the other hand, can and will set off any female being, without regard to race, color, religious sect, sexual preference, etc…it’s non-discriminatory and in some neighborhoods, would be cause for getting your face smashed then wedged into a chain linked fence where killer pit bulls are bred and trained on the other side of that chain linked fence. It’s such a strong and ugly word and I don’t use it - or at least try not to anyway. Just to set the record straight, before I proceed, I’ve never been called one or been referred to one, to my knowledge, anyway.

The differences between the two can be summed up as follows:

  • AWARENESS - A ‘bitch’ is fully aware of her bitchy attitude and actions that deems her a bitch to begin with. A ‘cunt’ has absolutely no fucking clue, which now, not only makes her a cunt, but an idiot!
  • CONTROL – Because a ‘bitch’ has a high degree of awareness about herself, she can be in complete and total control of her attitude and actions. In retrospect, a ‘cunt’ has zero control of anything. After all, you can’t control something you’re not aware of. That being the case, a ‘cunt’ is deluded by this behavior and is subtly transformed into normalcy.
  • DEPENDENCY – ‘Bitches’ are independent, know what they want, know how to get what they want and rely on nothing and/or no one; which, in my opinion, takes a lot of smarts. (This particular factor, in it of itself, is why I don’t have a problem being called one.) ‘Cunts,’ on the other hand are ‘codies,’ or co-dependent. Sure, they know what they want but can’t quite get it on their own. As a result, they resort to actions that fail good ethics and conduct tests (i.e. fucking their way to the top, making condescending remarks to demonstrate their passion about something or someone because they have nothing else, etc…). Again, idiots.

It is important to differentiate between the two so that you can fully grasp and understand a new situation I am faced with at work. But since it’s late and Sex in the City is about to come on, and to avoid getting all riled up again, I’ll make this short and ‘un’ sweet.

A new User just got added to my User Pool…she’s a fucking Cunt and a half! And everyone knows it which is why she was added to my User Pool. Part of the problem is she’s hot, and the other part is she knows it. Well, let me take that back, being “hot” is not the problem. I can give another woman credit where due. But because she’s hot the men in the office can’t say ‘NO’ when she is being unreasonable, which is all the time. They are deathly afraid of her! (Pussies.) My new boss can’t deal with her either! But for some reason, everyone seems to think I’m the only one here that can put her in her place.

Needless to say, this can and will get interesting. It’s already started. The men in the office are already starting a pool: “How many days will it take before Tech Babe takes her down in the garage for nice ass beating?”

There you have it...BITCH vs. CUNT.

LMFAO! Glad you did this!

I called Blair a bitch and she didn't seem to appreciate the strong, independence implied with the term. Maybe that's because I added "fuckin'" in front of it...

How would you categorize the term "Gash"? Try that one on the new girl. She won't get it at first, but then I bet she gets real cuntful...

I could never tell the diff...lol

I've got my money on you Tech Babe;)

According to dictionary.com's 'Disparaging and Offensive' definition,

Cunt: a contemptible person

Gash: a woman, considered as a sex object

Based on that, I'd categorize 'Gash' with the term 'Bitch.' Still, not nearly as bad as a 'Cunt.'

Hope that helped Jason.

newbie question:

can women use the "c" word the way black men can use the "n" word?

i will also admit, i saw the vagina monologues, and apparently the "c" word is one of those words women should be taking back "cunt"rol of...

a bit off the topic, but it is $.02.

Nico - YES! The "C" word to women is just as bad and offensive as the "N" word to black folk. So, definitely not recommended!

Thx for the $.02, now I have a whole nickel=P

Hilarious article. Gotta warn ya though... as a female, the C word is pretty much the verbal nuclear bomb when addressing females. Use very very sparingly.

Nico - I just re-read your question above and the answer is actually NO.

It doesn't matter what gender or ethnicity one is...calling a female the "C" word is just as good as playing with death...not fire...death!

Bitch is almost laughable. Makes me think it's just a little spoiled sore loser trying to get under my skin. Pathetic. Cunt is abrasive and it really does make me want to smash his face into a brick wall. I work as tech support. Had a phone in guy who kept calling me a stupid cunt. He was a jerk whining about his services and bringing me into it on any level was a mistake. I left a note about his behaviour in the account notes. It is funny how bitch has become almost a compliment, even in a backhanded way.

So, uh, what's wrong with Cunt?

March 10, 2008 | Unregistered Commenterpbauer007

My money is on you - not only in beating the cunt to a pulp, but on anything else you do.

I think you are very very special.

It's funny, because the F-word in Finland is the C-word.
More accurately, it's the V-word.
But the V-word, which is the C-word, is used like the F-word. Well, except in the terms "(sniff) horse's V" or even the utterly illogical "Jesus' V".

This is perfectly acceptable, to men and women alike, and because it is used like the F-word, it tends not to be used as a name to call people. It would just sound like you were using the F- word.

In Estonia, the same word means the same thing, but it's really offensive.

I have no idea why I censored this post. I often swear like a trooper.

I have to agree with you on the differentiation. Unfortunately, I've been using the c-word a lot lately... And I would add that the c-word is the ultimate insult (coming out of *my* mouth). And I'm not sure why I keep saying "the c-word"...I have NO problem at all saying cunt...
